We’ve had an incredible first month as Howden, which is the new name for A-Plan. Our team have celebrated the launch of our new brand with incredible energy and passion, hosting a whopping 216 in branches across the UK.
From posing pooches, to circus spectaculars, let’s take a look at how we’ve kicked off this next chapter as Howden!
Fun for all the family
Some of our branches decided to take advantage of the unseasonably good weather and host family fun days. We had stilt walkers, face painting, and even some prehistoric visitors! Check out these highlights from Abingdon, Maidenhead and Northampton!
Getting to know you
Our personal and commercial branch teams love supporting other local businesses, which is why we host a Business of the Week or Month on our noticeboards (take a look when you pop by your local branch next time. Many of our branches held networking events, inviting local businesses in to talk about the business community and how we, as Howden, can support it. Those who came were some of the first to see the new brand in-person. Whether they hosted coffee mornings or pizza and prosecco evenings, the turnout was great and our guests had a fantastic time!
Embracing the change
To match our new name, our branches have been getting a new look to go with it! Starting in Andover, where CEO Kelly Ogley revealed the new logo and façade, we’ve been busy debuting the prestigious Howden name above our doors.

Here at Howden, we love our pets, and know you do too! That’s why we hosted free fur-tastic photoshoots, where clients and their canine companions could pose their paws off.
We’ve also loved seeing snaps from our team across Howden, with their pets modelling our stylish bandanas!
